Magazine Design
My magazine is titled “Grace of Motion,” and it celebrates Myanmar’s traditional dance — Zat Thabin, one of the oldest and most expressive forms of art in our culture. The main idea is to show how tradition and emotion come together through movement, sound, and storytelling.

Industry :
Design
Project Duration :
3 weeks

For The Cover :
I used a vintage-inspired layout with warm, faded tones and a textured paper background to give an old 1980s Myanmar magazine feeling. The typography combines a classic serif font for elegance and a bold display type for titles, reflecting both tradition and strength.
For The Typography :
I used Playfair Display for the titles because it looks elegant, matches the graceful and traditional feeling of Myanmar dance. For the body text, I chose Changa — it’s clean, and easy to read, helping balance the vintage style with a more readable and fresh look.

For Visual :
The grid layout is simple and balanced — a four-column structure for body text and large image spaces to highlight the dancers’ expressions and costumes.
The color palette includes gold, beige, and deep brown, inspired by stage lights, silk dresses, and the warmth of old photographs.
Summary :
Overall, my design aims to make readers feel nostalgic, proud, and emotionally connected to Myanmar’s performing arts.
