Food Ordering System
This project focuses on designing a seamless in-restaurant digital ordering experience. The goal was to reduce waiter dependency, minimize ordering errors, and improve table-side convenience through a simple and intuitive mobile interface.
Year :
2025
Industry :
Real Estate
Client :
VistaHaven
Project Duration :
2 weeks

Problem :
Traditional restaurant ordering systems often create friction:
Long wait times to place orders
Miscommunication between customers and staff
Difficulty modifying orders
Limited visibility of menu categories
Inefficient group ordering
Users need a fast, self-service solution that works directly at the table.
Solution :
We designed a mobile-first food ordering app that allows customers to:
Browse categorized menus
Add and modify items easily
Review and confirm orders
Share QR codes for group ordering
Call a waiter when needed
The experience prioritizes clarity, speed, and minimal cognitive load.
Challenge :
The main challenge was designing a food ordering app that works smoothly in a fast restaurant environment. The experience needed to be simple, quick, and intuitive so users could order without confusion. It was important to reduce mistakes, support group dining, and still allow easy access to waiter assistance. At the same time, the design had to make the food visually appealing while keeping the interface clean and organized.
VISUAL DIRECTION :
The visual style focuses on warmth, clarity, and simplicity. An orange accent color highlights key actions and creates an inviting, food-friendly atmosphere. Large food images and card-based layouts improve readability and decision-making. Clean spacing, clear pricing, and consistent buttons guide users naturally through the ordering process while keeping the interface modern and approachable.
